Welcome to Nora Campos's Official Site
I am honored to serve as your representative to the California State Assembly. My service has always been rooted in my commitment to the phenomenal people who live and work in the 23rd Assembly district. During my first term, I have greatly enjoyed working with the community on a variety of issues that have helped make California a better place. I worked successfully with my colleagues to pass a balanced budget that prioritizes public education and job creation, while passing important legislation to improve economic conditions for our local businesses. As your Assemblymember, I introduced important legislation that made California drinking water safer, and worked to stop bullying on the internet. But making significant, sustained change takes time. We need to do more to create opportunities for our working families. We must create jobs for our current unemployed workers. We need to re-invest in higher education at the UC, CSU and Community College levels. And we must never lose site of the needs of our children and properly investing in our K-12 education system. As your Assemblymember I will continue to represent working families, seniors, children and the small business entrepreneurs who serve as the driving economic force in our community. I am committed to working with our devoted small businesses to ensure that California is a desirable place to do business. We need to create jobs, especially to those fueling the next wave of innovation in the technology and Green industries. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration of my candidacy to continue to serve you in the State Assembly. I am here to put your needs first and be your advocate in Sacramento.
